Terms and Agreement

Payments:

All sales are FINAL once payment has been made.   There is a 24 hour complimentary hold once an invoice is sent.  The respective payment must be made within 24 hours of receipt to confirm and secure your order.  Payment not made in this timely manner will result in cancellation.  If the customer would like to resubmit the order, a 10% paperwork fee will be added.   

A full payment is required for all Cake/Treat orders under $100 (not including tax).  Once that payment is made your order will be secured and placed on our calendar.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all Cake/Treat orders above $100 (not including tax).  The deposit confirms your order and secure your date. 

The Final payment is due 1 week before your event.  Payments not received one week before the event will not be filled.
Rush orders less than 1 week of the event will incur a 20% fee and a full payment including taxes to confirm and secure your order.  This must be done within 24 hours of the issued invoice.  If the payment is not received within this timeframe, the order will be cancelled. If the customer would like to resubmit the order, a 10% paperwork fee will be added.  

All payments are made through PayPal invoice. Credit or debit cards are accepted. NO CHECKS!

Changes:

Changes to your order will be accepted up to 1 week prior to the event date in writing.  After that lockout date, we cannot accept any changes. Please not that changes may incur an additional price tag.

Pickup/Delivery and Set-Up:

Delivery and set-up is required for all tiered cakes and some special occasion cakes.  There is a $15 delivery fee for cakes within a 10 mile radius of Jha’s Pastry Studio.  Deliveries outside of the 10 mile radius will be charged the $15 delivery fee plus .85 per additional mile  . ALL DELIVERY FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE.  
Jha’s Pastry Studio will not be held responsible for any mishaps of a cake once delivery and set up is complete.  Direct sunlight and high temperatures may have adverse effects on any cake.  All orders must be picked up at the specified time agreed on during order confirmation.  Any order picked up more than 1 hour after the agreed time will result in a $25 late pickup fee.

Product Information:

Our products may contain or come into contact with eggs, nuts, wheat, milk and other allergens.  It is our customer’s responsibility to indicate all possible allergies to the person taking the order as well as notify their guests of this risk and not hold Jha’s Pastry Studio accountable for allergic reactions.

 

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that something beyond your control should happen and affects your scheduled event date please contact us.  A credit may be given for a future date and must be used within 90 days of the cancelled date. We will do our best to accommodate you.

 

Disclaimer:
In the rare case that you are unhappy with your cake and would like a refund, please contact us the day of your event so your cake can be returned.  Without proof that you are not happy with your order and will not be using it for your event, we will not be able to refund you a certain percentage of your order. I am 100% dedicated to satisfying my customers.
